About me
I was born and brought up in Dumbarton, but have lived in the East Neuk of Fife for many years.
I attended Dundee College, where I studied for an HNC in illustration, and then progressed to Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art where I achieved an honours degree in Fine Art - Drawing and Painting.
I have exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions, and my work is held in private collections throughout the UK, Europe and USA.
Recent and ongoing trips to the Hebrides provide an ongoing source of inspiration for many of my works. The contrast of the beautiful, deserted beaches and the dramatic, rocky landscape in this area is overwhelming. I am also inspired by the atmosphere and ever changing skies and seas of my local area. My works are my personal response to these areas and reflect my love for them.
